Why Choose a Virtual EMDR Intensive?
Transform Your Life Faster
Prevent Long-Term Trauma Reactions: Address recent stressful or traumatic events quickly to prevent the development of chronic conditions like PTSD.

Rapidly Reduce Distressing Symptoms: Experience relief from anxiety, depression, hypervigilance, emotional numbness, sleep disturbances, emotional dysregulation, and relational difficulties.

Increase Emotional Well-Being: Build greater feelings of peace, authenticity, empathy, and satisfaction in your relationships.

Develop Lasting Skills: Strengthen healthier boundaries, self-care practices, and resilience that serve you long after your intensive.

Concentrated Healing Time: In traditional weekly therapy, only about 20-30 minutes of each 50-minute session may be spent on actual EMDR processing. With intensive sessions, you have sustained time to go deeper into the work without interruption, leading to more complete processing and faster symptom relief.

Maintained Therapeutic Momentum: Intensives keep you in the healing process without week-long gaps that can slow progress. Your brain continues processing between sessions within the intensive, maximizing effectiveness and creating lasting change.
How Do EMDR Intensives Work?
Step 1:
Free Consultation Call (10-20 min)
We'll discuss your concerns, goals, and determine if an EMDR Intensive is right for you. This is an opportunity to ask questions and ensure we're a good fit.
Step 2:
Initial Assessment Session
Before your intensive, we'll meet for a comprehensive assessment to understand your history, identify targets for processing, and teach you essential skills for the intensive work ahead.
Step 3:
Your Intensive Experience
During your intensive, we'll work through the EMDR protocol at a pace that feels safe and effective for you. Sessions include breaks to ensure you remain comfortable and grounded throughout the process.
Step 4:
Integration and Follow-Up
After your intensive, we'll schedule a follow-up session to check on your progress, address any additional needs, and create a plan for maintaining your healing.
Investment and
Payment
Investment and Payment
Most clients find that insurance reimburses 50-80% of the cost. A 3-day intensive equals about 10 traditional therapy sessions— but you complete the work in days instead of spreading it over months.

Hourly Rate: $300 per hour
Sample Intensive Costs:
-
3-hour session: $900
-
6-hour session: $1,800
-
2-day intensive (3 hours/day): $1,800
-
3-day intensive (3 hours/day): $2,700
Payment Structure
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your intensive dates. This deposit is applied toward your total intensive cost. The remaining balance is due on the first day of your intensive.
Cancellation Policy
Intensives may be rescheduled without penalty up to one week prior to your scheduled intensive date. Cancellations made with less than one week's notice will forfeit the deposit.

Research Backed Effectiveness
Studies demonstrate that EMDR Intensives are as effective as traditional weekly EMDR therapy sessions, with the added benefit of achieving results in a condensed timeframe. The intensive format is particularly powerful because it allows for complete processing cycles without the interruptions that can occur with weekly sessions, leading to faster symptom reduction and more sustainable healing.
Insurance and Reimbursement
While I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly, many clients are able to receive partial or full reimbursement from their insurance company for out-of-network mental health services.

Superbill Provided

I will provide you with a detailed superbill after each session that includes:
-
Diagnosis codes
-
CPT procedure codes
-
Date and length of service
-
Provider credentials and information
You can submit this superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement according to your out-of-network benefits.

Checking Your Benefits

To determine your out-of-network mental health benefits, contact your insurance company and ask:
-
Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?
-
What is my out-of-network deductible, and has it been met?
-
What percentage does my plan cover for out-of-network mental health services?
-
Is there a limit to how many sessions are covered per year?
-
Do I need pre-authorization for EMDR therapy or intensive services?
-
How do I submit claims for reimbursement?
Many clients find that their out-of-network benefits cover 50-80% of the cost after meeting their deductible, making intensive therapy a valuable investment in their wellbeing.
